System Walks Berlin

 

 

I have carried out System Walks in The Scottish Highlands, the English-Scottish Borders, Scandinavia, London, Edinburgh, and Istanbul. I have also walked in Berlin for several years, and some of the Berlin work is shown here. Further Projects will be added in due course.

 

The Berlin walks include:

 

1. Walks in the Mitte/Pranzlauer Berg district, repeated yearly since 2010.

 

2. A film, 'Senefelderplatz to Kino Babylon via Rosa-­Luxemburg-­Platz, 2011-­ 2013', shown at Transart Film Festival, Berlin, August 2013

 

Current Project:

 

'Walk Lola Walk'. This is an ongoing project that attempts to retrace the three contradictory routes through Berlin in the Film, 'Lola Rennt', or 'Run Lola Run'. 

 

 

Under Proposal:

 

Drei Routen Hause/3 Routes Home

A new film-based work currently under proposal that considers how Berlin has changed since reunification through conversations with Berliners on walks through the city.
